Eera and Tim – 16th November 2013 at Coombe Abbey Coventry
I first met Eera and Tim early this year when they come, with Eera’s father, to see me at home and to look through previous weddings pictures, while looking for a photographer for their wedding at Coombe Abbey.
Tim and Eera’s wedding celebrations were a memorable event as the celebrations started on Friday evening at the brides parents home, holding a traditional Asian family celebration. A marquee in the garden housed a fab party feel as both sets of family and friends, Tim’s family and friends traveled from New Zealand, mingled together, getting to know each other and building excitement for the next days nuptials.
On Saturday I went back to Eera’s family home where she was preparing for her big day with her sisters and bridesmaids before I traveled to Coombe Abbey to meet with Tim, his best man and ushers. The ceremony took place in the Abbey Gate room and after the ceremony, the wedding party went to the West Terraced area of the venue to have group shots taken before making their way to the marquee for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
As readers of the blog will be familiar with, I took the new Mr & Mrs outside at different times of the day to make the most of the different natural lights and the many photo opportunities that the grounds at Coombe Abbey lends itself to.
In the evening, Eera changed her dress into something equally gorgeous as her ceremony dress and as you will see, just the change in her wardrobe put a different style and edge to the remaining photos. I stayed to capture the first dance and some more of the wedding party celebrating before taking my leave.
As I covered two occasions for Eera and Tim, there are a few more photos included in this blog for you to view, I hope you like what you see. The full selection of photographs are available to view at Doherty Photography Online shop and can be accessed by using a secure access code.
Thank you for asking me to cover your celebrations, it was one to remember!
