Wedding photos at Stoneleigh Abbey – Warwickshire – Maria and Tom – 3rd May 2014
I had the pleasure of photographing Maria and Tom’s wedding on a lovely May bank holiday weekend.
I met Maria preparing for her big day with her bridesmaids at her parents house with everyone enjoying the atmosphere and made for some really fun prep photos. The ceremony took place up the road at St Francis of Assisi Church in the village of Baddesley Clinton.
I met Tom at the church with his brother as best man and several ushers guiding the large wedding party in to the church which was a bit of a squeeze. Maria arrived with her dad looking lovely and I was able to capture some of the ceremony.
We all traveled to the magnificent Stoneleigh Abbey after the ceremony which makes for a stunning backdrop. The new Mr and Mrs were happy to make the most of the grounds and enjoyed the warm weather, to take some lovely photos of just the two of them before doing some fun bridal party photos.
The wedding breakfast was set in the stables which looked lovely with a lot of attention to detail as you will see in the photos below. Some fab speeches which had the guests in raptures and I followed up with a little time inside and out of the Abbey with the light perfect.
I stayed on to capture the evening coverage with first dance and partying before the three of us popped outside to take the opportunity for some fab twilight shots. I hope they will love the photos as much as I do!
Thank you to Maria and Tom for asking me to attend your special day, it was a lovely wedding and I hope you find the selection of photos here, to be exactly what you were hoping for.
